Church's became part of the Prada Group in 1999, but before that it was managed by the founding Church family. The Church's before the acquisition of Prada is referred to as the "Old Church" or "Pre-Prada" and some leather shoe enthusiasts in particular say that the Church's from this era is the original Church's. Sole: Goodyear Welted Leather, Stamped Church's Famous English Shoes F 80. Size: UK 8, US 9, EU 42. (Based on Church's size chart). Last: 73 This is the last of the classic semi-square toe that was born in 1940 and was the face of Church's brand until just before its acquisition of Prada in 1999. Outer length of shoe toe to heel along the sole 29.6cm (Approx).
