Church custom grade is the top quality range made by Churchs Northampton. Shoes takes 8-10 weeks to manufacture and are still hand made in the historic factory in Northampton and undergo hundreds of individual operations by hand to deliver the finest in hand made footwear.

Has a smooth upper, no toecap or stitching, except for on the eyelet facings, which feature hand-stitches applied by specialised craftsmen and the shoes details are all written by hand on the inside of the upper in a special calligraphy. The boot, which was constructed with the world-renowned Goodyear method, boasts a thick triple sole whose storm welt helps keep water out.

The condition of these are very near new as have only been worn lest than a handful of times as is evidenced from the photos. There are a few minor scuff on the upper, and slight wear to the heel and sole. I brought these boots in 2002 and it grieve me to sell them, but there is a degree of consolation in knowing that they are going to someone who appreciates the fine style and craftsmanship of Church at its very best.
